Siesta...

Found this snippet of a poem in today's newspaper...

Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun.
The Japanese dont care to, the Chinese would'nt dare to,
Hindus and Argentinies sleep firmly from twelve to one,
But Englishmen detest a siesta...
In Bengal, to move at all, is seldom if ever done,
But mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun.
