Why September????

They did it on 11th September.
Again they did on the 13th of September.
Why September?
What is so inauspicious about September that they chose September again and again?
I was born in September, hence it was always special to me, but now they have spoiled that feeling.
Now all I feel is "wake me up when September ends"...
